My name is Reggie Bellamy, I am the Executive Director of the Palmetto Youth Center. I would like to welcome you to the Palmetto Youth Center’s Website. We are excited that you took time out of your busy schedule to learn more about who we are and what we do at the Palmetto Youth Center. We were founded in 1957 by a group of concerned African American leaders. The goal of this group was to provide a positive atmosphere for youth in the community. Five decades later, we continue to build strong programs that impact character, academics, and recreation for our youth in the community.

 

As you peruse our website, hopefully you will enjoy the photos of the kids having fun. Also, take note of their success as they compete in areas of athletics and character building. We invite you to be a part of the excitement and success of our programs. Whether it’s our Foundation of Excellence Program, HYPE Program, or our Little League & Social Recreational Program, we encourage and welcome you to become a member of the Trojan family.

 

As the Executive Director, my goal is to build programs that teach and mentor kids how to embrace their education and become positive contributors to society. Thank you for visiting our website.  We hope to see you soon at the Palmetto Youth Center.
